At Tide & Trails, counselling and therapy occur with clinical experience, relational attunement, and flexibility

This work is experiential, individualized, and collaborative. Each therapeutic journey is shaped and developed in response to your needs, goals, and the environments that support you best.

The Tide & Trails Experience

Therapy takes place in a setting that best supports each client - whether a private office, a mobile trailer near natural surroundings, or outdoors.

All spaces provide comfort, confidentiality, and a safe container for exploration, allowing the work to unfold in a way that meets each individual’s needs and goals.

Our time together may include reflection and conversation, therapeutic practices.

When equine therapy is included, it unfolds slowly and intentionally. Horses offer powerful, non-verbal feedback through presence and attunement, supporting insight, regulation, and relational awareness without expectation.

Support for Individuals Seeking Something Different

Tide & Trails works with adults and youth who are:

  • seeking support for grief, anxiety, trauma, or stress

  • feeling disconnected from themselves or their environment

  • drawn to experiential, body-aware approaches

  • looking for therapy that feels grounded, flexible, and relational

  • experiencing a desire for deeper connection and meaning

This work may be especially supportive for those who feel drawn to nature, movement, and experiential approaches - or who haven’t found what they’re looking for in more conventional settings.

Tide & Trails is grounded in evidence-informed practice and guided by professional standards.

I am a Registered Social Worker with a Master of Social Work (MSW) and advanced training in trauma-informed care, Emotionally Focused Therapy, DBT, somatic approaches, and nature-based therapy.

Ethics, Care & Safety

All services are grounded in the ethical standards and scope of practice of a Registered Social Worker in British Columbia. Confidentiality, informed consent, professional boundaries, and client wellbeing remain central in every setting—whether in office, outdoors, or alongside horses.

The wellbeing of horses and the natural environment is always prioritized.

Beginning is simple and intentional. Visits are booked through a virtual calendar. First step is to book a free 15 minute Discovery Call consultation.

Whether we’re meeting in a comfortable, private therapy space, walking a forest trail, standing by the ocean, or pausing alongside a horse, each experience offers an opportunity to slow down, reflect, and reconnect.
